Meredith Lee, Manager, Youth Learning Program, The Mastercard Foundation is the Moderator for the Action Network: Post-Conflict Education session on September 23, 2010 at 12:00 pm. With over half of the worlds’ out-of-school children residing in conflict-affected environments, CGI members have joined forces to address educational needs in such settings.


September 20, 2010, Decent Work Forum: Side-Event for the Millennium Development Goals Summit  (International Labor Organization)

NY, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Reeta Roy, President & CEO of The MasterCard Foundation will be participating in the Decent Work Forum as a panelist on “Building Partnerships for Development through Decent Work”. Chaired by David Arkless, President of Corporate and Government Affairs at Manpower, this panel will explore the importance of partnerships in achieving the MDGs as well as the impact of the Decent Work Agenda. It will examine achievements, challenges as well as opportunities for stakeholders to bring existing activities to scale and integrate decent work programs into broader MDG planning for the 2010-2015 period.
